To Vits, you seem to be hyper-focused on analyzing the flaws and it shows your bias. No one who has played games on consoles is suddenly going to go “Hey, let’s get a gaming PC because this console costs too much.” And yet, we have people that are doing just that. However, because your bias is showing, you aren’t even paying attention to that. Instead, you overlook pretty much everything I said.
Not one person who has played consoles for nearly all of their gaming lives is going to want to touch a gaming PC, outside of being ok with all the nuance that a gaming PC brings. I focused on the issues that PC gaming has, and before that and not in that article, I’ve highlighted again and again the positives. But, you feel to bring up, as has others, that PC gaming is everything there is.
Also, way to try and insult me. You can’t even try to have a subtle conversation without resulting to insults.
All people are doing is going “oh, these games are cheap, oh, I can get free games, oh, online is free.” And not once did I disagree. But I do agree about telling people what they should do, rather than explaining the pros and cons of the equation. Not once did anyone here bring up the negatives of PC gaming. And that’s completely unrealistic.
You’re telling me that YOU’VE never had an issue with playing a game on PC? It never crashed. You never had issues with performance where a console didn’t.
And not everyone wants to use a PC to do more than gaming. That’s just how it is. Sure, you can, but everyone does. Those people do exist. That’s why smart tablets exist, so they don’t need to. That’s why smartphones exist. So they can do all that stuff people are saying that they can do, on something other than a computer.
