@sikverhawk it’s not about the person’s income, savings, net worth etc. personally I can comfortably go out and buy a PS pro tomorrow I could probably comfortably buy two and have maccas on the way home. Will I buy it or upgrade from the base model no chance.
But being comfortable with money vs value proposition is the thing here.
Does the PlayStation 5 pro and it’s price represent a good value proposition and answer is overwhelmingly no Sony has failed to prove why I should care about the pro and it’s only the diehards that seem to want to blindly throw money at them.
I sat and squinted at the footage in a 4k OLED Bravia tv trying to find understand why I should care and I walked away going I don’t see it.
I’m sure it’s going to be a technically better system but how much better and would I rather spend that 700 or for me 1360 AUD on a pro or sit on that cash for a switch 2 or just save it for something else in life.
Gaming is a hobby for me but it’s not my whole life
If you think nit spending your money on a console that has failed to justify its existence is not having your life in order maybe you should look in the mirror first
