Why do you care about what may or may not make it to GamePass?
There´s nothing preventing people from buying games on Xbox or PC regardless those being available on Gamepass or not.
Sony´s MLB 24 is available on Gamepass, and yet, it´s one of best selling and most played games on Xbox. The *RETAIL* version!
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is Top 10, among Fortnite, COD, GTA V, Roblox, Minecraft and more. And that game is not available on Gamepass.
Now we know that MS is investing 1 freaking Billion in third party content for Gamepass. So chances are that more third party games will be announced for Gamepass at TGS, like you or not.
That been said, I doubt that SE which has been making public statements on how their latest games “underperformed” and failed to meet expectations, would refuse money paid up front. Money that potentially could cover all of their development costs with said games.
You guys are funny. First you said that FF games won´t sell on Xbox and that´s the reason why SE couldn´t even bother and port their games for Xbox consoles. And now that there´s a *chance* those games might be coming to Gamepass, all of sudden you´re “hoping” that people actually buy it rather than hope it’s on gamepass or comes to gamepass in future.
