Everyone’s favorite bear is headed for glorious adventure in the third Paddington film: Paddington in Peru.
The latest trailer for Paddington in Peru has marmalade-loving Paddington (voiced by Ben Whishaw) returning to his homeland of Peru — with the entire Brown family in tow. Their mission? To find his Aunt Lucy, who’s gone missing from the Home for Retired Bears, run by the Reverend Mother (Wonka‘s Olivia Colman).
His quest will lead him to boat captain Hunter Cabot (Antonio Banderas), who’s on the hunt for the treasure-filled El Dorado. According to legend, a bear will lead the way there, meaning Paddington may find his Aunt Lucy and some gold to boot!
Of course, he’ll have to get through bumpy plane and boat rides first, not to mention an encounter with a rolling boulder right out of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Here’s hoping he’ll get a nice big marmalade sandwich at the end of all his troubles.
Paddington in Peru hits theaters Jan. 17.
