I mean, I wouldn’t be that surprised. It’s likely not the final version, since Sony will wait for the AMD 9000 low-to-mid-range card to maximize their profits. However, the CPU should be based on Zen 4, and the power of the PS6 could be simulated with a more powerful current-gen AMD card. And for a prototype that is more than enough.
I do wonder what their buzzword marketing will be about, though. Right now, it’s definitely AI, but they’ll need something new for the PS6. They’ve already used SSD speed, so maybe they’ll go with ‘intelligent’ power delivery or something like that.
