Razer recently released its first wireless Xbox controller, the Wolverine V3 Pro, but if you don’t mind being tethered to your console (or PC), Amazon has a pretty awesome deal on the Wolverine V2 Chroma. As part of its Prime Big Deal Days sale, the Wolverine V2 Chroma is available for only $56–a $94 price cut from its $150 MSRP. Only the white version is eligible for this discount, and Amazon is currently estimating one- to two-month wait times for delivery, but this is by far the best deal we’ve seen for the solid pro-style controller with some nice customization features.

The Wolverine V2 Chroma deal is just one of many steep discounts on Razer products available for Prime Big Deal Days. Amazon is also offering a $50 discount on the Wolverine V2 Pro wireless controller for PS5.

Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma

It comes with a 10-foot braided USB-C to USB-A cable to connect to your Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. As far as customization goes, it comes with four remappable back triggers and two extra bumpers on the top of the controller. Switches on the back of the controller can decrease the travel distance of RT and LT. Trigger locks such as these are most useful in online multiplayer shooters, as. you can increase your rate of fire. It also comes with shorter and taller thumbstick caps that can be swapped out on the fly.

Like all Wolverine controllers, the V2 Chroma utilizes Razer’s “mecha-tactile” switches, which makes the face buttons and D-pad feel like clicking a computer mouse. RGB lighting effects can be. customized using the official Razer Controller Setup App on Xbox.

The Wolverine V2 Chroma’s successor released in August. Beyond ditching the cord for the first time, the Wolverine V3 Pro offers numerous improvements, including the addition of Hall Effect analog sticks. It also has improved ergonomics thanks to more conventionally placed back triggers.

Xbox gamers should also check out Amazon’s tremendous bundle deal on the official Xbox Wireless Controller, an Amazon Fire Stick 4K, and one-month Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
