2024 is nearly over, and Apple has released a list of the most-downloaded games on the App Store this year. The list includes both free games and pay-to-play titles, along with iPhone and iPad games. Naturally, Apple Arcade games are also featured.

Some of the titles that made the cut this year aren’t exactly a shock–it’s no surprise that Stardew Valley is seeing a spike in popularity after its massive recent update, for instance. But there are certainly a few surprises among this year’s most-played App Store games.
