Today may not seem like a special day for shopping, but gadgets from Apple, Roomba, and more are down to some of their best prices ever on this random Monday in January. We’ve scoured the pages and pages of deals at Amazon and handpicked a few that we think are more than worth it on Jan. 27.

Our top pick: Apple M2 iPad Air
Our favorite iPad for most people, the M2 iPad Air is ideal for everything from streaming and reading to doubling as a laptop, thanks to the processing power of the M2 chip. In our Geekbench 6 tests, it actually scored on par with the M2 MacBook Air. So you can achieve a similar high-performance experience but pay a fraction of the cost — especially while it’s on sale for $100 off as of Jan. 27. While it may not have been a massive design change from the previous generation, it doesn’t need to be. As Mashable tech editor Kim Gedeon noted, the M2 iPad Air “delivers impressive performance and noteworthy battery life that will keep creatives, students, and on-the-go busy bees away from the imprisonment of charging cables and wall outlets.”

Tile Mate
While it’s no longer the latest version of the Tile Mate, this Bluetooth tracking device will still get the job done — and for cheap. As of Jan. 27, it’s on sale for only $14.99. That’s 40% in savings. Just slip the ultra-thin gadget into your luggage, attach it to your keys, or fix it onto anything else you want to keep track of and you can use the Tile app to keep tabs on it. We found it to be “a reliable GPS tracker that works equally well for iOS and Android.” Plus, we love that you can get notifications when you leave items behind and qualify for item reimbursement if you can’t recover lost items (with a paid Tile Premium subscription).
iRobot Roomba Combo j7+
We’ve sang our praises for the Roomba Combo J7+ many times before, but it always bears repeating — especially when it’s on sale for nearly half price. It’s been shown up by the newer, more powerful Combo J9+ in the years since its release, but it’s still a beast of a mopping robot vacuum. It’s a fantastic navigator, making it one of the least likely robot vacs on the market to get stuck. And while the mopping isn’t the best in the business, as our in-house robot vacuum expert put it, “overall satisfactory cleaning and little need for human intervention make [it] an overall clutch investment.” Snag it for just $599 instead of $1,099.99 as of Jan. 27 at Amazon. That’s its best price to date.

Beats Studio Pro x Kim Kardashian
I personally will never get over the outrageous cost of the AirPods Max — not when the Beats Studio Pro headphones exist and regularly go on sale. As of Jan. 27, the Kim Kardashian iteration of the Studio Pros are on sale for just $179.99 (down from $349.95). That’s 49% in savings and about $20 shy of the lowest price on record. Not only did Mashable reviewer Alex Perry give these headphones a glowing 4.5 out of 5 stars, but he also awarded them a Mashable Choice badge of honor. Sure, they’re no longer as shiny and new as other picks, but we still think they’re worth grabbing. As Perry wrote in his review, “It’s hard to find a pair of over-ear headphones with a better all-around experience than Beats Studio Pro.

Apple M4 MacBook Pro
If you aren’t worried about the price, we can’t say enough good things about the M4 MacBook Pro. In our testing, it lasted almost 17 hours on a single charge and outshined the M3 chip by 27 percent. According to Mashable Tech Editor Kim Gedeon, it “wows with endurance-defying battery life and stellar performance, allowing Apple to reclaim its throne.” The base model with 512GB of storage is usually $1,599, but as of Jan. 27, you can slash 13% off and get it for $1,399. Sure, that’s still steep, but it matches its lowest price on record.
