Lost Records: Bloom And Rage – Cabin Door Puzzle Guide

The gameplay for Lost Records: Bloom & Rage mostly revolves around exploration and storytelling, but the nostalgic ’90s adventure does include one puzzle room that won’t allow you to advance without solving it. If you find yourself stuck, here’s how to complete the puzzle room door during the Cabin in the Woods track for Tape 1.

Much like episodic games of the past, Lost Records is broken down into narrative chapters. These are called tracks to fit the ’90s music theme. Mild spoilers ahead: During Tape 1’s Cabin in the Woods track, your character will eventually find herself locked inside a spooky cabin. The lock has a combination puzzle, and you can’t advance in the story until you solve it.

Inside the cabin are several glowing blue symbols. Reading the document on the support beam of the cabin will give you hints as to which symbols you need to use for the door’s lock, so it isn’t terribly hard to figure out, but there are a few things that can be misleading and make this look much harder than it actually is. I spent way too long thinking the symbol at the bottom of the ladder was the one I needed, when actually it’s the symbol at the top of the stairs in the attic that I overlooked. You can skip that confusion by using our answer key below.

You need the lock’s symbols in the following order:

• 1 – The eye is already locked in place
• 2 – Moon
• 3 – Leaves
• 4 – Stars

Inputting these symbols in the order above will open the lock and allow you to advance with the story.
