While Andor Season 2’s first trailer promised rocking Star Wars revolution, the season’s second trailer takes a tenser, more foreboding approach.
The biggest reason for that tension? The Death Star, which made a brief appearance in the end tag for Andor Season 1. Now, as the show draws ever closer to the events of Rogue One — which was all about obtaining the plans to the Death Star — that fearsome Imperial weapon becomes an even bigger threat.
“It’s a weapon. They’re building a weapon,” one character says in the trailer, which then cuts to Rogue One‘s Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) overseeing the nearly completed Death Star.
But Krennic and the rest of the Empire — including Syril Karn (Kyle Soller) and Dedra Meero (Denise Gough) — will face major opposition from the ever-growing Rebellion. Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) is now fully in the fight, along with allies Bix Kaleen (Adria Arjona), Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård), and Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly). How much will they sacrifice for revolution?
