I picked up Sony WH-CH520 headphones because I was tired of babying my battery-drained earbuds. For $36, I figured if they even lasted a week of commuting, I’d call it a win. Turns out, these things can go for 50 hours on a single charge, which is more stamina than I can claim on most weekdays.
They’re not flashy, they’re not fancy, but they do the job without complaining. The sound quality is what you’d expect from Sony: reliable, clean, and fully adjustable through the brand’s app if you feel like messing with EQ settings. The fact that they pair to two devices at once is a blessing. I can swap between Zoom calls and my phone without pausing to unpair or re-pair. I’m sure there are more expensive headphones that do this, but I don’t need them. I just need these.
