Score $100 gift card with purchase

Google’s Pixel 9a takes everything that was great about the Pixel 8a and looks to modernize it. With an all-new Pixel 9-inspired look and no camera bump, this might be the best $500 smartphone we’ve seen yet.

The Google Pixel 9a is shaping up to be one of the best midrange phones of 2025. Not only did Google get a ton of things right with the phone, but it also managed to keep the price low on its budget Pixel offering, starting at just $499. While this makes it an absolute no-brainer to pick up if you’ve been looking for a new phone, this new promotion throws in a $100 gift card with purchase and makes it even sweeter.

This is how you nail your essentials

What’s great about the Pixel 9a?

This is one of the few Android phones out there that pretty much hits on every level. Not only do you get a refined design that looks quite sleek, but the display is also quite good too. Furthermore, you get plenty of power under the hood, along with great software features, and the promise of years of support.

When it comes to the specifics, you’re getting a 6.3-inch pOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Google’s Tensor G4 SoC that’s paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It comes with a large 5,100mAh battery, with the ability to charge wired or wirelessly.

As far as the cameras go, you get a dual setup in the rear, with a 48MP wide and 13MP ultrawide camera, and a front-facing camera that comes in at 13MP. Durability is also quite good here, especially when it comes to dust and moisture, with the phone delivering an IP68 rating. The phone comes preloaded with Android 15 and also supports up to seven years of software updates.

For the most part, you really can’t go wrong with the Pixel 9a. This is a budget Android phone that really punches above its price. And with the new promotion, you can get a $100 gift card from Best Buy, which can be spent on pretty much anything else that you need.
