It’s really an epidemic with the gaming industry right now.
Just like what Kreisen said here in the comments, it’s too easy for developers to get their hands on some dev tools.
All you have to do is slap together 1 or 2 minutes of pretty footage that represents what you WANT, and suddenly you have a horde of hopeful gamers with sweaty palms thrusting fistfuls of cash at you when the devs don’t even have a complete idea for their game.
And THEN we all get catfish’d.
I’m a victim of it too.
