Just enough AI without the useless stuff

Samsung has reopened enrollment for its Care Plus protection plan in the United States (via Sammobile). Care Plus typically has to be added at the time of purchase, but anyone with an eligible device gets a second chance until June 15.

Drops, theft, cracked glass, and spills, oh my!

Samsung Care Plus with Theft and Loss coverage comes with unlimited repairs for accidental damage. Cracked screens and back glass repairs get same-day service. Mechanical breakdowns are also included. Even battery replacements are free under the plan. Best of all, Samsung promises a same-day replacement if your device is lost or stolen. It’s a heck of a deal.

The Open Enrollment window is live right now and will let anyone with the following devices sign up:

  • Galaxy S25 series
  • Galaxy Z Fold 6
  • Galaxy Z Flip 6
  • Galaxy Tab S10+
  • Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

All repairs are done using genuine Samsung parts by certified technicians at over 700 authorized locations across the US. Pricing depends on the model. It can range from between $10 and $18 per month. Head to the Samsung Care Plus website to sign up.

This is only open to US residents who did not already add Care Plus at the time of purchase. Not all Galaxy devices are eligible.

Another shot at peace of mind

This is a rare opportunity to add full-service coverage to your expensive hardware. Repair costs and new devices are getting more expensive as tariffs begin to kick in, so it is definitely something worth considering if you skipped it the first time around.

Just be sure to enroll before the June 15 deadline. After that, you’ll be back to hoping your phone survives the next drop.
