I only had one problem with the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE at launch: its price. There was too much competition to justify what it offered for $650. However, with the right deal, the Galaxy S24 FE has the potential to be an excellent value, given its gorgeous display and seven years of software support. Thankfully, Verizon has a deal that won’t increase your monthly bill. Sure, you’ll need to stick with the company for 36 months, but if you don’t have any plans on switching, it’s a fantastic opportunity to save.
If you stay with Verizon for 36 months after purchase, you’ll score a Galaxy S24 FE for free. Of course, if you leave early, you owe the balance of the credits, but it’s an excellent way to get a premium smartphone without adding to your monthly expenses.

Why you should buy a Samsung Galaxy S24 FE
I enjoy the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE for several reasons. It features a gorgeous 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen that refreshes at 120Hz. It’s bright and vibrant, making it ideal for playing games and watching movies. Unlike other midrange phones, it’s protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back, with an aluminum frame, giving it a premium feel and increased durability. It’s hard to tell the Galaxy S24 FE isn’t a flagship when you’re holding it.
Software support is another reason the Galaxy S24 FE is a fantastic buy at a discount. Samsung promises seven years of support and upgrades, which started with One UI 7. I’m glad to see extended software support brought to midrange devices, and you can feel confident using your Galaxy S24 FE for years. I’m also pleasantly surprised by the performance of its Exynos 2400e chipset. I didn’t know what to expect, but the Galaxy S24 FE is snappy, with solid gaming performance, even at higher graphics settings.
I consistently get a full day of mixed use on a single charge from the Galaxy S24 FE’s 4,700mAh battery. It features relatively slow 25W wired recharging, but wireless and reverse wireless charging are available. All told, the Galaxy S24 FE is a solid smartphone, and if you can get one in your pocket without coughing up any cash, it’s an excellent choice.

The Galaxy S24 Fan Edition brings the Galaxy S24 experience at a more affordable price point. It packs everything you can ask for in a mid-ranger, including a 6.7-inch display, all-day battery life, and competent cameras. The phone launched always felt expensive at its original MSRP, but a $150 discount makes it a lot more tempting.
