The Motorola Razr+ 2025 occupies an odd place in the company’s foldable lineup. It’s probably the best choice for most people who want a new Razr flip phone in 2025, especially given the high price of the Moto’s flagship Razr Ultra. The base Motorola Razr 2025 is an excellent phone, but I can see people wanting a larger outer display and a bit more power under the hood. Unfortunately, the Razr+’s initial MSRP didn’t make much sense, especially considering you could get last year’s model for significant savings.
However, Amazon has a deal that fixes all of that. For a limited time, you can pick up a Motorola Razr+ 2025 for only $700. At that price, I have no reservations, and it’s worth picking up the newer model. If you’ve been looking for a new Motorola Razr, this Amazon deal might be enough to get you off the fence.

Why you should buy the Motorola Razr+ 2025
The Motorola Razr+ 2025 offers a lot for just $700. Its Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset remains snappy, especially when paired with 12GB of RAM. By purchasing this year’s model, you gain a more durable hinge and IP48 dust and water resistance. It’s not the higher ratings we see on most flagship phones, but it’s good to see some dust protection on foldables.
Its displays are excellent, and you can upgrade to the larger, 4-inch outer panel by springing for the Razr+. I love that I don’t need Good Lock to set up my most-used apps on the outer screen, like with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. The Razr+ unfolds to reveal its 6.9-inch AMOLED inner display. It’s limited to 1080p, but it’s still vibrant and bright, with a high refresh rate.
Motorola’s software is what it is. You won’t get extended software support, but I enjoy what Moto has done with Hello UI and Android 15. You’ll get decent battery life from the phone’s 4,000mAh battery, but don’t expect it to last more than a day without needing a top-up. All told, the Motorola Razr+ 2025 is an excellent choice, especially considering its price of just $700.

Motorola’s 2025 Razr+ isn’t all too different from what came before. With nearly identical specs as last year, the big improvements come from a more rigid, durable design and plenty of AI goodies.
