PlayStation has revealed July’s batch of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. All PS Plus members will be able to claim a trio of freebies starting July 1: Diablo 4, King of Fighters 15, and Jusant. If you haven’t claimed June’s PlayStation Plus free games yet, make sure to do so before next Tuesday.
Diablo 4 is a big draw this month, as Blizzard’s action-packed RPG is a return to the grim atmosphere of the classic games in the series. Like previous entries, it’s a dark journey across the land of Sanctuary as you work to stop a growing demonic threat. The game is enjoyable in both solo and co-op modes, and since launch, Blizzard has fine-tuned the experience with tweaks to the gameplay, the endgame experience, and dynamic activities that’ll put your skills to the test.
While several features haven’t gone over too well with the fanbase–like the shoddy battle-pass system that has been heavily criticized–it’s still an enjoyable game overall. The first expansion for Diablo 4–Vessel of Hatred–is also pretty great and worth checking out.
King of Fighters 15 was released back in 2022, and while it wasn’t a revolutionary entry in the series, it’s still a rock-solid brawler full of personality and style. It has an absurdly large roster of characters, hard-hitting action, and a good variety of modes that has made it a favorite amongst fans of the franchise.
Rounding out PS Plus this month is Jusant, a mountain-climbing game with vivid visuals and satisfying gameplay mechanics. Not only is it consistently engaging to play, but it has an incredible story told through found letters and artifacts. It was featured on GameSpot’s list of hidden gems, and it’s worth checking out if you have a PS Plus subscription.
This month also marks the 15th anniversary of PS Plus, and to celebrate, Sony has announced several activities that’ll unfold throughout the summer season:

- Sony Pictures Core (June 25 – August 12) — A 15% discount on up to 2,000 movies for PS Plus Premium subscribers
- Online Multiplayer Weekend (June 28-29) — All players can join online multiplayer matches with no PlayStation Plus membership required
