How to get a Dyson Airwrap for $400 on Prime Day

July 8, 2025

Save $100: Grab the Dyson Airwrap Origin for $399.99 at Amazon as of July 8. This deal nets you a 20% discount on the $499.99 multi-styler.

I said it back in 2022 and I’ll say it again in 2025: I don’t think you can make a strong case that Dyson Airwraps are worth it for most people.

Yes, they’re a versatile tool, but they’ve also been duped over and over again, leaving the playing field full of worthy alternatives. However, I’ve also said for years that Dyson would be smart to offer a build-your-own kit — a la the Shark FlexStyle — offered with less attachments, at a slightly lower price. The Airwrap Origin isn’t exactly that, but it’s close, offering three attachments to the Airwrap’s six. That lowered attachment count comes with a lowered price of $499.99, compared to the Airwrap’s $599.99. But for Prime Day, you can grab the Airwrap Origin for even cheaper, at just $399.99.

As someone who publicly wasn’t a fan of the “affordability” of the Supersonic Origin, I met this price point — even the $399.99 deal, with some skepticism. After breaking it down, I found that grabbing the Airwrap Origin on sale is actually a great deal, purely by the numbers.

Here’s how I broke it down: sold separately, each Airwrap attachment costs $39.99. For the sake of determining this piece by piece breakdown, I assumed that six attachments on the regular Airwrap would come out to $240, which subtracted from the total cost of the tool, would come out to $369.99 for the Airwrap base and case. Add back in the cost of $120 for three attachments, and you get a multi-styler priced at $489.99 — roughly the cost of the Airwrap Origin.

All this to say, $399.99 for an Airwrap with three attachments is actually an impressive deal, especially if you mainly want the Airwrap for the curling attachment and blow dryer. There are, however, a few of cases I wouldn’t recommend it: if the attachments don’t appeal to you, buying new ones piece meal will quickly add up. If you’re not set on Dyson, most Airwrap dupes are under $300. Finally, if you don’t have hair that easily holds curls (like mine), the Airwrap can come with a steep leaning curve — I found the ceramic barrels on the T3 Aire 360 to create more defined (and longer lasting) curls.

Still, if you’ve been wanting a Dyson Airwrap but can’t stomach the $500 to $600, this deal makes it slightly more palatable. At least, it certainly beats the recently announced $700 Airwrap.
