Amazon Prime Day can be a great time to pick up new tech, kitchen gear, and pretty much anything else you can think of on sale — but it might just be an even better time to buy refurbished products.
Welcome to the world of the Amazon Resale (formerly known as Amazon Warehouse) store. It features open-box and used products, all of which have been tested and verified to be fit for resale. And in honor of Prime Day, Prime members get extra discounts on many of these products. The Ninja Creami that hasn’t gone on sale brand new? It’s $50 off in the Resale store. A 15-inch MacBook with an M3 chip, 24GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage? It’ll run you $1,249 brand new, but just $976.83 for a “like new” condition. Or maybe you still can’t quite justify the $550 sale price on the Breville espresso machine? No problem — it’s in “very good” condition and on sale for $369.
Speaking of the condition you’ll find them in — all of the deals we selected below are either in “like new” or “very good” conditions, which according to Amazon means they were very gently used, might just be an open box product, or have some minor cosmetic imperfections or be missing non-essential accessories (which will be listed in product descriptions).

It’s always a bummer when some of our favorite products don’t go on sale for Prime Day, especially ones as seasonally appropriate as the soft-serve making Ninja Swirl. While you may not be able to get the $350 ice cream maker on sale brand new, you can get a used one — in “very good” condition — for just $283.69. From its own used price, that saves you about $50. From its price brand new, you’ll save $66.
Even at full price, Mashable’s Sam Mangino deemed this ice cream maker worth the price, saying it brings together the best parts of the Creami, with the addition that “soft serve or froyo fiends will love the new dispensing feature, which is exceptionally easy to use and, not to mention, really fun.”
