In a fresh twist, Romero Games denies it’s closed, and says publishers could yet save its FPS

What you all don’t understand is you don’t think before you act. Xbox has had the power and influence that it’s had because everyone didn’t think or study it out and just voted/acted. Gamers for the longest time had given warnings against Xbox but people don’t listen and now look where we’re at. PlayStation just announced Helldivers II for Xbox thinking that must be the way to go. It’s NOT! Xbox is doing everything they’re doing out of desperation, not experience in the industry. You’ve have the top gaming brand now following the one circling the drain. If the industry was in that big of a threat, why is Nintendo still 100% exclusive and has the second best selling console of all time? Nintendo isn’t worried, why should PlayStation be?

It’s simple, PlayStation’s producers aren’t doing their jobs. A producers job is efficiency. It’s not asking for money, it’s making it work on a budget. Relic is a perfect example, apparently, on the right way to do it all. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is Gears of War, basically, but it was made on a much smaller budget, likely because their producers knew how to do the job. Games don’t need to cost over $200 million and they shouldn’t be given budgets that big no matter the success because what is it doing? Today’s game world is the product of it.

PlayStation 3 had a new game from Sonys first-party devs every two years. Yeah. While sports games had minor updates in their yearly release, an additional year yielded an complete game.

During the PS3 era Naughty Dog released: Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, and with a little extra development time to cap off the PS3 era was The Last of Us. Now, this came from a console that was said to be extremely difficult to develop for.

The PlayStation 4 was said to make things easier and streamline the process so Naughty Dog had Uncharted 4: A Thiefs End, Uncharted: Lost Legacy, and The Last of Us: Part II. And this is Naughty Dog with a second development team.

The PlayStation 5, equally as easy to develop for using off the shelf parts. Naughty Dog? NOT A SINGLE GAME. COVID? Not an excuse. Santa Monica Studio made Ragnarok and everyone on the team is still alive and kicking, imagine that.

It’s that simple. The gaming world has told the other audiences of the gaming world to be careful with Xbox, but nobody listens. It’s not the Xbox Shemaus Blackley, Ed Fries, and Allard built, it’s completely corporate and some how for some reason with a dying console, developers and publishers are still stupid enough to release content for them knowing the way things are going. Asus is making Xbox’s “next console” when there’s nothing Xbox about it. And ROG Ally no matter how you slice it. It runs Windows just like their last handheld did but Microsoft did nothing to build it. Xbox thinks their sneaky with “This is an Xbox” campaign, but they just shows they’re out of hardware. They’re gonna try one more console and continue to try and swoon PlayStation to release their games on their console and then laugh in PlayStation’s face for getting them hooked and now they can’t turn back, and PlayStation will have been stupid for letting Xbox flip the script on them. PlayStation that should be riding high on their success are incompetent. Their CEO is still old fashioned minded in following the West rather than developing their own style of business but, he’s not Andrew House, Kaz Harai or Jack Tretton
