Storage

256GB, 512GB

Battery

3,900mAh

Samsung’s latest smartphone combines the best elements of the mainline Galaxy S25 trio with an all new slim chassis. But will the smaller battery and reduced sensor count be enough to win over enthusiasts?

It’s no secret that Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge sales haven’t been great. Perhaps being thin isn’t the big selling point it once was, or perhaps Samsung has flooded the market with similar phones that few people are willing to leave their comfort zone. Whatever the reason may be, Samsung’s loss is most certainly your gain today.

While we saw a notable discount during Prime Day for the S25 Edge, Prime Day is now over, along with that deal. Thankfully, Best Buy is here to pick up the slack with a fantastic discount that shaves $300 off the retail price, bringing the $1,100 retail cost all the way down to $800, a comparable price to the regular Galaxy S25, but in a much slimmer package, with your choice of three colors to boot.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge-7

It’s pretty safe to say Samsung has been coasting the last few years, leaving innovation to competitors, and boy, were things starting to feel stale. Then in comes the Galaxy S25 Edge, and while it didn’t set the world on fire, what it did was show Samsung is still willing to try new things, and if you’re the sort who appreciates thin devices, you are in for a treat with the Galaxy S25 Edge. There is no doubt that the edge-to-edge display is striking on such a slim chassis, all the while offering the polish everyone expects from the Galaxy line.

You can expect a 120Hz refresh rate for the 6.7-inch OLED screen, and since this sucker is so thin, it feels like Samsung has perfected this glass and metal slab; it’s the all-screen device of our dreams, and at 2600 nits, you can easily view it indoors and out. While the battery life takes a hit because of thinness, it’s not like the Ultra doesn’t exist if you need something with a huge battery. Style and function are the point here, and there is no doubt the Galaxy S25 Edge is a looker that still manages to deliver the oomph you expect of a Snapdragon 8 Elite handset packing 12GB of RAM.

Basically, the Galaxy S25 Edge didn’t manage to find a warm welcome among Android fans, thanks to a late arrival in Samsung’s lineup, but this is very much to your advantage if you’re in the market for a new Samsung smartphone, as the lackluster sales have resulted in some bodacious, and even with Prime Day behind us, you can still manage to snag a Galaxy S25 Edge for $300 off thanks to Best Buy.

So if thin is your thing, or you simply love the design of ingenious tech pushing the bounds of what’s possible, today is the day to score an S25 Edge for the low price of $800, quite a deal for a phone that still retails for $1,100. But make sure to act fast, as there is no telling how long this deal will last.
