Motorola could be doubling down on its Swarovski earbuds

Motorola is no stranger when it comes to flashy collaborations. The tech giant’s default colorways are already brave enough, with its latest Razr (2025) and Razr Ultra (2025) experimenting with bold choices like Scarab, Cabaret, Rio Red, Mocha Mousse, and more.

The manufacturer recently experimented with special editions for Pantone’s 2025 color of the year with a subsequent Paris Hilton edition of the Razr+ that was so pink that it made flamingos around the world blush.

Oh, and it comes at a $200 premium

It’s hard to top the cotton-candy-looking $1,200 smartphone, and that might be precisely why the Chicago, Illinois-based company is now experimenting with a flashy collaboration for a product in its audio line.

Motorola’s new Moto Buds Loop already have a special Pantone French Oak edition that is adorned with Swarovski crystals. Now, it looks like Motorola has another Swarovski collab in its back pocket. The company today shared a short video on its socials hinting that the Moto Buds Loop are in for another crystal-studded makeover.

White Buds Loop spotted

The video above highlights the Moto Buds Loop in a white colorway. For reference, the Moto Buds Loop, as of right now, are only available in brown/gold and Trekking Green colorways, prompting us to believe that the buds in the video are a new special edition featuring Swarovski crystals.

“As the market continues to be saturated with basic phone designs and dull, predictable finishes, Motorola is getting ready to bring the sparkle,” wrote Motorola in an email sent to us. That makes it sound like there could be a special Swarovski edition for one of the tech giant’s new phones too, but there are no clues to suggest that in the short video shared by Motorola.

The Moto Buds Loop do look like real loop earrings when worn, making them an ideal choice for the collab. Whether Swarowski adorns the buds with real stones or not remains to be seen. Motorola says that it will have more to share in three weeks’ time — on Tuesday, August 5th, which is likely when these buds could go live for order.
