If your retro, N64 remake is delayed, what do you do? Blame President Donald Trump.
Trump’s punitive, widespread tariffs have reportedly delayed the shipment of the Analogue 3D, a $250 retro gaming console that promises the N64 experience with modern upgrades, according to the company. The Analogue 3D sold out last year and was supposed to ship in early 2025 — but now customers will have to wait until at least next month.
“Following last week’s sudden tariff changes, Analogue3D will now begin shipping next month. We’re absorbing the costs — your preorder price stays the same. No additional charges,” the company wrote on its website this week. “Late August, the wait ends: reviews go live with everything we’ve been saving for this moment. We’ve poured everything into Analogue3D — and we can’t wait for you to see it for yourself.”

Trump levied a new round of tariffs last week, with rates as high as 50 percent on certain countries. The president’s tariffs are sprawling and hard to track, but a pause on the initial, reciprocal tariffs levied in April is due to end in August.
To be fair, the Analogue 3D had already been hit with delays that had nothing to do with tariffs, and we can’t independently verify that Trump’s tariffs are the cause of the latest delay.
Regardless, it seems users will finally get their Analogue 3D next month.
Analogue says its N64 remake is a “reimagining of the N64” that’s compatible with every N64 game ever made, bringing classics like Goldeneye and Mario Kart 64 to 4K TVs.
