Google Pixel 10 could debut with a 67W dual USB-C charger

Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 lineup has leaked extensively in the last few weeks, revealing almost everything about it. Or so we thought. It seems one product managed to avoid all the leaks so far: a new 67W dual-port USB-C adapter.

Retailers like PC-Canada and TrueDataIT accidentally made their Pixel 10 listings live ahead of the Made by Google event later this week (August 20). Besides the new phones and Qi2 wireless chargers, the listing refers to a “67W Dual Port Power Adapter” in “Snow” color (via Android Authority).

With the new Pixels tipped to support faster wired and wireless charging, it seems Google will launch a higher-wattage power brick alongside them. The 67W power output and dual USB-C ports should let you juice up your Pixel phone and the Pixel Watch or another device at close to their full speed.

Google currently sells a 45W USB-C power brick for its Pixel devices, though it can only charge one device at a time. Based on the premature listing, the company may sell its new 67W charger for CA$79 — double the price of its 45W charger.

The new 67W power brick should go well with Google’s other accessories for the Pixel 10, including the magnetic Pixelsnap cases. You obviously won’t need to use the company’s 67W power adapter to charge the upcoming Pixels at full speed. Just about any compatible 67W or higher USB-C power adapter will work.

Pixel 10 cases could cost you more

One of the listings also confirms that Google will price the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand at CA$99, making it slightly cheaper than the CA$109 Pixel Stand 2. But on the flip side, the new Pixelsnap cases will apparently cost CA$10 more. The more expensive prices should also be applicable in the US and other markets where Google will sell the Pixel 10 accessories.

With the rumored addition of magnets inside for Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, the higher price seems justifiable.

Google will take the wraps off the Pixel 10 in two days from now — on August 20, so we won’t have to wait long to learn more about the phone and its new accessories.
