They took an unique Action Adventure Brawler into a Turn Based game with a Persona like presentation to it. Basically they changed the genre and feel of the series because $$$.
Imagine if they took the Batman Arkham series and turned it into a GAAS, Third Person Looter Shooter with Pastel Colors, Numbers and Effect flying all over the screen and an UI that would make your eyes bleed while giving you an early onset of dementia…Oh, wait…
Like I said, sometimes, cancellations can be a blessing in disguise. In this instant, I believe that TimeSplitters fans dodged a bullet. There’s still hope for the series is all I’m saying. With Yakuza? That boat sailed a while back.
