Why we like it
For those looking to splurge on high-quality sound, we suggest the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar, which is the next step up in Bose’s range. We haven’t had the opportunity to test it for ourselves, but our sister site PCMag (also owned by publisher Ziff Davis) spent some time with it and called it “a powerful one-piece soundbar that delivers big sound with plenty of spatial audio detail, and ample audio streaming features.” It earned their coveted Editors’ Choice award and a glowing 4.5 out of 5 stars. It looks just as sleek and simple as the more budget-friendly options, but is packed with features like AdaptiQ, which allows the soundbar to measure your room’s acoustics and adjust the balance for optimal sound and spatial imaging based on where you sit.
