Mint Mobile’s $15/month promotion is going away soon

Just a few weeks left to take advantage of Mint Mobile’s summer promotion, knocking its unlimited plan to just $15/month. This is one of the best prepaid plans we’ve seen, especially because the discount lasts for an entire year. That’s right, you’ll be able to get a full year of unlimited service from Mint Mobile for just $180.

Unlimited on a budget

So what do you get with this Unlimited plan? Well, it’s pretty simple, with Mint Mobile providing a service with unlimited talk, text, and mobile internet data. We took Mint Mobile for a spin and found that the quality of service was pretty good, providing excellent speeds and coverage in the US.

If you didn’t know, Mint Mobile is backed by T-Mobile’s reliable network, and was even purchased by the brand just last year. You can sign up for a family plan if you want, and you can also bring your own phone, which makes things really simple. If you want to grab a phone from Mint Mobile, that’s also an option as well.

Mint Mobile is a value-focused MVNO that runs off T-Mobile’s 5G network in the US. It differentiates itself from the competition by offering wholesale discounts for its service — you buy multiple months of service at a time and pay less per month as a result. Mint Mobile was partially owned by Ryan Reynolds, before T-Mobile acquired the MVNO earlier in 2024.

Right now, you can get a Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge or Pixel 9 for just $30/month with an unlimited plan included. Now, Mint Mobile will require full payment for the plan when you sign up, which means you’ll be paying $180. That might be quite steep for those that usually pay each month, but with this discount, we think it’s worth it.

Of course, this is a limited-time promotion, which means, once the year is over, you will be paying the standard monthly price, which comes out to be $30/month, which isn’t all that bad. Since you aren’t locked into any type of contract, you can also quit the plan if you want. But if you’re someone that wants to try something new, we recommend giving Mint Mobile a try.
