The Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) is quite the all-rounder, particularly for a midrange phone at its price point. You get 5G connectivity, an included stylus, and solid internals. What takes this phone over the top right now is that huge discount, dropping it down to just $100.
While Motorola’s flip phones get most of the attention, the brand also offers a fantastic line of midrange and budget devices as well. And while retail prices are good, things get even more interesting once we see rare discounts on some of Motorola’s gems. The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G is one such device, which often flies under the radar and delivers impressive value. While this phone had an original retail value of $400 when it launched, it can now be had for much less, thanks to a hefty discount from Woot that knocks it down to just $100.
This phone is going to be more than enough for most people
This phone has a 6.6-inch 1080p 120Hz screen and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip that’s paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It’s responsive in daily use and can even run some of the most popular games out right now. Now, it isn’t going to be able to compete with flagship devices of 2025, but when it comes to everyday use, this one is going to get the job done without any issues.
The battery life is also quite good as well, offering up to two days with regular use, and charging speeds up to 20W when you need to top up. While the cameras on the rear won’t blow you away, they get the job done, with a 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide. There’s a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls as well.
However, what sets this phone apart from others is that it packs a physical stylus. The software integration makes this accessory a pleasure to use, with the notes app of your choice popping up the moment you take it out from its built-in storage found on the phone. Beyond that, Motorola also packs a pretty good software experience with Android.
It’s simple and easy to use, making it perfect for everyone. If there is one complaint, it’s that Motorola won’t be updating the Android version on this phone, but for a $100 device, we don’t think that’s even an issue. Just be sure to act quickly because supplies are limited.
