It’s pathetic that people fall for these graphical gimmicks. Just goes to show how gullible and weak minded people are that are easily convinced by tricks and marketing.
Does the game look better with ray tracing? Yes. Does it make a difference? No.
How about focus on things that do make a difference, like improvement to AI and how they behave in games and more innovative gameplay mechanics.
Part of the reason why game development has become more expensive is because its being focused on the wrong thing, graphics, while abandoning and paying less attention to what makes a game great, fun/engaging gameplay mechanics.
Start focusing on that and improved AI, because, generally speaking, if theres anything that has become stagnant and hasn’t improved, it’s those two things.
We can’t have that though, because nvidia need to sell those 5090s and soon to come 6090s.
