The Honor Magic V5 is officially hitting markets all over the world

Even though Honor’s Android phones go head-to-head with Samsung and Google’s best, they often fly under the radar outside China because the brand isn’t everywhere. That said, Honor’s foldables often get a proper global release, and the latest Magic V5 is now making its way to multiple European countries.

After launching in China a few months ago, Honor’s latest book-style foldable is now available in the UK and Europe (via Android Authority). We’re putting the Magic V5 through a full review to see how it stacks up, but for now, here’s a look at its pricing: The Honor Magic V5 (512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM) is priced at £1,699.99 in the UK and €1,999 across Western Europe. It comes in four shades — Ivory White, Black, Dawn Gold, and Reddish Brown.

Honor says its Ivory White Magic V5 is the thinnest foldable out there, though some argue the Galaxy Z Fold 7 still takes the crown. Either way, the Magic V5 is impressively slim — 4.2mm when open and 9.39mm closed — and the size difference compared to Samsung’s model is barely noticeable.

The battery life here is genuinely solid

5,820mAh for marathon screen time

The Magic V5 rocks a 5,820mAh silicon-carbon battery, making it the largest and most power-packed battery ever in a foldable. Honor’s tests show it can stream YouTube on the inner screen for about 14 and a half hours, but that’s under lab conditions, so real-world use may vary.

The device sports a 7.95-inch flexible OLED inside and a 6.43-inch cover display. Both screens run at 120Hz and hit up to 5,000 nits of brightness. Under the hood, it’s driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, with options reaching 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

Knowing how much users care about cameras, Honor loaded the Magic V5 with an impressive setup: a 50MP wide lens, 64MP periscope telephoto, and 50MP ultra-wide camera. It also packs smart features like AI Enhanced Portrait, Harcourt Portrait, and AI Super Zoom. On the front, there are two 20MP selfie cameras.
