By preserving and enhancing six classic shooters and keeping the IP alive with its own Salamander III, M2 has demonstrated how much it reveres and understands the franchise. Hopefully the studio will return in a follow-up collection to tackle subsequent games like Gradius Gaiden, Gradius IV, and Gradius V. Clearly, it’s up to the task.”
