Some of the best wireless earbuds just got even better thanks to a new release, and we’re not talking about the Apple AirPods. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2nd Gen are now finally available for purchase through some of our favorite retailers. You get the same great design of the original, but marked improvements like better sound, ANC, and a wireless charging case.

As you might expect, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds don’t come cheap with a price of $299. There are three colors currently available for sale, with a fourth color set to arrive in the near future. So, if you’ve been thinking about a new pair of earbuds, we think the QuietComfort Ultra 2nd Gen are going to be worth taking a look at.

This is the most complete pair of Bose earbuds yet

We loved the original Bose QuietComfort Ultra when we reviewed them. Of course, when you’re talking about Bose, the only thing to expect is greatness, as the brand has been around for decades and knows how to do audio right. And as you can imagine, the new Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2nd Gen builds on its predecessor, refining the details to deliver an even better experience.

And while excellent sound and fantastic ANC are to be expected, the QuietComfort Ultra 2nd Gen does pack some welcome surprises, like a wireless charging case and multipoint connectivity. These are two of our biggest from the previous model, and Bose has successfully addressed them. Now, when it comes to battery life, you’re going to get at most six hours of listening, with another 24 hours from the case.

There’s also an app from Bose that will allow you to further customize the experience, which is a nice touch. Again, this is a new release from Bose, so you aren’t going to see any discounts, but if you’ve been a fan of the brand, or were looking to pick up a new pair of earbuds, this one might be worth giving a try.
