Hades, Visions of Mana hit Xbox Game Pass later this month

September 16, 2025

Microsoft has unveiled the titles that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass throughout the rest of September, and even the first week of October, on Xbox Wire. The most notable full-game additions to Game Pass Ultimate are Hades and Visions of Mana.

That said, fans of Call of Duty will also be happy to hear that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will now be playable on the Game Pass Standard tier and that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 beta will be available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers between October 2 and 7.

We’re entering a busy few months for Xbox Game Pass.

What games are coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate throughout the second half of September?

Hades, Visions of Mana, and Call of Duty lead the charge

Ten games will come to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate between September 16 and October 7. On top of that, there’s the beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, three games coming to Game Pass Standard, and even three titles hitting the cheapest Game Pass Core tier.

You can see the full list of new Xbox Game Pass games below. I’ve noted what day they will come to the service on and which tier of the service they will now be available on:

  • RoadCraft – September 16 (Ultimate and Standard)
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – September 17 (Standard)
  • For the King II – September 17 (Standard)
  • Overthrown – September 17 (Standard)
  • Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor – September 17 (Ultimate)
  • Frostpunk 2 for Xbox Series X – September 18 (Ultimate)
  • Wobbly Life – September 17 (Ultimate and Standard)
  • Hades – September 19 (Ultimate and Standard)
  • Endless Legend 2 – September 22 (Ultimate)
  • Sworn – September 23 (Ultimate)
  • Peppa Pig: World Adventures – September 25 (Ultimate and Standard)
  • Visions of Mana – September 25 (Ultimate and Standard)
  • Lara Croft and the Guardians of Light – September 30 (Ultimate and Standard)
  • Cities: Skylines Remastered – October 1 (Core)
  • Disney Dreamlight Valley – October 1 (Core)
  • Warhammer 40,000: Darktide – October 1 (Core)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Beta – October 2 (Ultimate)
  • Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato – October 7 (Ultimate)

That’s a hefty batch of solid new games. It’s fitting that Hades is coming back to Xbox Game Pass ahead of its sequel’s launch later this month, and Visions of Mana is an underrated RPG that launched last year. There’s even some exciting day one Game Pass games mixed into this bunch, like Endless Legend 2 and Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato.

What games are leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of September?

Goodbye, multiple Ninja Gaiden games

Unfortunately, some games leave Xbox Game Pass Ultimate’s catalog every 15 days. Three Ninja Gaiden games available on the service are all going away about a month before Ninja Gaiden 4 launches into the subscription service. You can see the full list of games leaving the Game Pass Ultimate on September 30 below:

  • Ninja Gaiden Sigma
  • Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
  • Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge
  • Terra Invicta

If you want to refresh yourself on the Ninja Gaiden series before the new game releases, make sure you do so over the next week or two. I’d also recommend trying out Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, as it’s a fantastic new game.
