New Stranger Things Script Books Get Limited-Time Discounts At Amazon

Stranger Things fans and aspiring screenwriters should check out Amazon’s deals on the newly released Stranger Things script books. Published by Random House Worlds on September 1, Stranger Things: The Complete Scripts – Season 1 is on sale for $19.54 (was $30) for a limited time. Season 2’s script book was published the same day and is available for $23.26 (was $30).

Script books for Season 3 and Season 4 are up for preorder ahead of their December 9 release, and we imagine Season 5 will eventually get a script book of its own–after fans finally get to watch it, of course. The fifth and final season of Netflix’s hit series starts streaming November 26 with Episodes 1-4. The next three episodes will be added to Netflix on December 25, and the series finale is scheduled for December 31.

At a glance, the Stranger Things script books look like they have hardcover bindings, but these are paperbacks with textured covers. The understated design of each cover looks nice, and each season has a different background color.

Each Stranger Things script book includes an exclusive introduction by series creators Matt and Ross Duffer. As the name suggests, these books include the full scripts that were used to film the Netflix series. That means every scene, line of dialogue, and character direction is printed on these pages.

Season 1’s eight-episode arc clocks in at 496 pages.

The script book for Season 2 features all nine episodes across 624 pages.

$30 | Releases December 9

Season 3’s script book releases December 9 and includes the complete scripts for all eight episodes across 560 pages.

$30 | Releases December 9

Season 4’s script book is the largest of the bunch. Slated to release the same day as the Season 3 scripts, this massive paperback collects all nine Season 4 scripts across 800 pages.

Stranger Things: The Complete Scripts isn’t the only exciting new script book release this fall. Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us game series is getting an official hardcover script book December 16. This is incredibly uncommon in the world of video games, so 616-page book should be a fascinating book for fans as well as aspiring game writers. The Last of Us: Part I and Part II Scripts is available to preorder for $70 at Amazon.

Stranger Things Graphic Novels & Comic Collections

Stranger Things Omnibus Volume 1

For more Stranger Things books, check out some of the official comic books and graphic novels. Multiple omnibus editions have been released so far in hardcover and paperback. The hardcover versions are called Library Editions and have the same comics as the paperback editions (labeled omnibuses). Fans can also check out a couple of crossover graphic novels, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Stranger Things and two Stranger Things x Dungeons & Dragons books. The second D&D crossover, The Rise of Hellfire, will be published September 30.

Stranger Things Novels

Stranger Things has also been turned into prose novel series for adults and young adults. The three best-selling books for adults are available for around $15 or less each. A fourth adult novel titled One Way or Another: A Nancy Wheeler Mystery will be published December 2 and takes place after Season 4. You can preorder Stranger Things: One Way or Another for $21 (was $30) in hardcover at Amazon. The Young Adult series is up to four books, and a box set with three of them was recently published.

In other Stranger Things news, a new set of Lego BrickHeadz figures featuring Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will launches October 1 for $40, and you can preorder the 542-piece kit exclusively at the Lego Store.
