But his recent passion comes from finding the best discounts on the internet on some of the best tech products out right now.

Google has done quite a bit of housekeeping on the Play Store, but even now, there’s just way too much to sift through if you’re looking for something specific. However, it looks like the Play Store is now getting search suggestions powered by Gemini, serving up a list of apps that might actually be useful for some.

The news comes from Android Authority, reporting that the latest update of the Google Play Store introduces a new way to search for apps, with the ability to search using themes. Some of the themes include options such as ‘Protect my privacy’, ‘Boost productivity’, ‘Zombie games’, and more. When using one of these search methods, it will provide a curated list of apps to choose from.

This search method appears to be rolling out to those in the US for now, but could go out to other regions soon. It’s not the most exciting change to the Play Store, but it could be a huge help for those just getting started with finding Android apps. Seasoned Play Store users will know just how cluttered the lists for apps can be.

We even recently learned that Google wiped out 224 malicious apps from the Play Store that were infecting people’s devices. While Google does its best to monitor apps that go into the Play Store, it can’t catch all the bad actors. So it’s important to keep an eye out when you’re downloading apps. Be sure to check reviews, and read any feedback that you can find before downloading.

Of course, you could also check out our curated list that includes tons of popular apps and some of our personal favorites as well. The list is pretty vast, so there’s bound to be something for everyone.
