Ditch your gym membership as Samsung Health’s iFIT integration goes live

At the top of the month, Samsung announced new features coming to its Health app, like being able to schedule an appointment with virtual physicians, Walgreens prescription integration, and also getting premium training in partnership with iFIT.

It looks like the latter feature is now rolling out, which means Samsung Health users will have the option to get high-quality training solutions straight from their phone. The change was spotted by SamMobile, as part of the latest version of the Samsung Health app that comes in as 6.30.5.105.

Samsung Health is leveling up

As far as what the iFIT integration entails, it means that Samsung Health app users will now have direct access to experts that can offer a variety of different ways to train and get healthy. There are hundreds of workouts through the service, spanning a range of different categories, like strength, Pilates, HIIT, yoga, and more.

The best part is that iFIT has a range of different activities that support the use of equipment and without. So, if you don’t have any fitness gear at the home or office, that’s okay, you’ll still have plenty of ways to have fun using the service. It’s important to note that iFIT will be a paid part of Samsung Health. The good news is that iFIT does offer a 30-day free trial so you can see if it’s right for you.

We have to warn you though, it is a pricey service if you’re looking to join, with plans starting at $15/month, and going as high as $39/month for the Pro membership. With that said, if you’re eager to check it out, be sure to download the latest update for Samsung Health. It’s important to note that SamMobile does share that it hasn’t released globally, so if you don’t see it yet, be patient.
