Although the Galaxy S26 series is still months away from launch, there has been no dearth of leaks related to the upcoming smartphone lineup. One big change we’re expecting with the top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra is the presence of more rounded corners, a departure from the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s boxy shape. We’re now getting an early look at how this updated design would impact the S Pen stylus.
One of the more reliable sources of smartphone leaks, UniverseIce, posted an image on X over the weekend, illustrating how the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s S Pen would look when it’s housed inside its silo.
The image/render shared by the leaker only provides a view of the top portion of the stylus. Nevertheless, it reveals how the curvier frame of the Galaxy S26 Ultra would impact the S Pen’s design. It’s unclear if there will be any other visual changes to the stylus.
A subtle, but noticeable change

Based on what we saw with the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen capabilities this year, there was a growing sense that Samsung may not bundle the S Pen on its Ultra flagships for too long. We’ve also come across reports suggesting the stylus may lose some more functionality with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The S Pen has been a core part of Samsung’s Ultra flagships (and Galaxy Note devices before that), meaning its removal is bound to ruffle some feathers. Fans of the accessory, however, will take solace in the fact that it will live on in 2026, but we can’t predict if that will be the case for the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s successor in 2027.
Apart from the flagship’s stylus, we know that the company will bring in a couple of upgrades to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, particularly in the camera department. Despite a couple of conflicting reports about charging speeds, it appears that Samsung will provide 60W wired charging on its next Ultra flagship.
We also know about the display upgrades coming to the smartphone, including an AI-based Private Display feature that can automatically adjust the screen’s brightness from certain angles, thereby restricting the visibility of your screen from prying eyes.
