October Prime Day (also known as Prime Big Deal Days) is nearly here, starting on Oct. 7 and 8, but that doesn’t mean you need to wait for the official sale to bag a Nintendo Switch bargain.

As with most big sales, the retailer has already rolled out a batch of early Prime Day deals on Amazon, and Nintendo Switch fans in particular have plenty to get excited about.

From discounts on must-play titles, old and new, to deals on consoles and accessories that can make gaming on the go a little easier, there’s already a healthy selection available. So, whether you’re hoping to top up your game library, pick up a spare controller, or even grab a Switch console itself, now’s a great time to take a look.

Already a fantastically fun game to begin with, the Director’s Cut layers in new cutscenes and expanded story details, offering fresh insight into its central characters, while combat gives you three unique fighting styles to swap between on the fly.

Mashable Deals

There’s even a new online mode, Red Light Raid, which lets you join forces with friends to take on wave-based enemy encounters.

The only real caveat is that the physical version uses Nintendo’s Game-Key Card system, meaning you’ll be downloading rather than slotting in a full cartridge. Still, at this discount,
