NYT Strands today (game #582) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #582, are…
- ROBES
- PAJAMAS
- NIGHTGOWNS
- JOGGERS
- LONGJOHNS
- SPANGRAM: LOUNGEWEAR
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
My most disliked phrase is the one about it being good to get out of your comfort zone. In my experience, leaving the comfort zone is never a good idea, but especially when it comes to clothes.
Yes indeed, the clothes described here all come under the banner of LOUNGEWEAR, but for many of us – especially those of us who are freelance, working-from-home types – they also describe what we wear 90% of the time.
Leaving the house also means leaving my clothing comfort zone and wearing something other than JOGGERS: belts, shoes, material that isn’t soft. It’s a harsh world out there.
Anyway, I digress – today’s Strands was suitably comfortable and easygoing, just the thing I needed as I eased myself into a hectic day of lounging.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands answers (Sunday, October 5, game #581)
- LURE
- PLOY
- TRICK
- RUSE
- DECEPTION
- STRATAGEM
- SPANGRAM: ITSATRAP
