The Quest 3S is a lightweight, standalone VR headset that comes with two wireless Touch Plus controllers. It’s strong enough to play a wide range of impressive VR games directly on the headset’s internal hardware, including showpiece titles like Batman: Arkham Shadow, Asgard’s Wrath 2, and Assassin’s Creed Nexus. For VR games like Half Life: Alyx that are beyond its built-in capabilities, the Quest 3S can be synced to wirelessly to a gaming PC or with a compatible link cable. Meta’s entry-level VR headset is a modified version of the more powerful and expensive Quest 3. The Quest 3 has more advanced lenses, which results in a larger, clearer image.
