Shouldn’t have never stopped and believed in the lie. We told you that it wasn’t profitable. We told you that the prices would go up. We told you that it will affect many developers because gamers will expect sequels released to be played for almost nothing. That only big developers receive the big bucks. That a game that doesn’t do well on the service could possibly kill a developer. And on and on.
“But but but. It’s the greatest value.”
It’s the greatest killer of game sales. And Microsoft themselves said so. So bad, that Microsoft has to release on their competitors platforms. Which is embarrassing to the fanboy who didn’t have their eyes open. You just wouldn’t listen. Nintendo and Sony are thriving on game sales. And they have continued to lead the way. The traditional way. Make a product. Sell a product. It’s not that a service is bad. Sony does well because they offer the games AFTER THE GAME SELLS AT RETAIL. How hard was that to understand?
If you were bamboozled, it was your own fanboyism that got in the way of seeing the truth. Sorry not sorry.
