This increase was not received well by users and fans, according to Mashable’s senior culture reporter Christiana Silva. Since this announcement arrived two days before Microsoft also announced increased Xbox console prices, fans have been… upset.
Microsoft also sent out communications on October 8th stating that some users would not experience a price increase to their subscription.
