A new NYT Strands puzzle appears at midnight each day for your time zone – which means that some people are always playing ‘today’s game’ while others are playing ‘yesterday’s’. NYT Strands today (game #594) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #594, are…
- DETOUR
- CLOSURE
- ALARM
- WEATHER
- CONSTRUCTION
- SPANGRAM: RUNNINGLATE
- My rating: Easy
- My score: 1 hint
After getting corner words DETOUR and CLOSURE, I struggled to get what the theme was all about – so I set about getting random non-game words (there were some good ones today) and using a hint.
The hint gave me ALARM and it was only then that I realized we were looking for reasons/excuses why we may be RUNNINGLATE for work.
DETOUR covers a lot of ground in this list and covers most of my tardy moments – the others are cats, rain, and lactose intolerance.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands answers (Friday, October 17, game #593)
- CAPER
- CAVORT
- GALUMPH
- SCUTTLE
- TRAIPSE
- PRANCE
- SPANGRAM: SILLYWALKS
