I feel that this is the position of every sensible person. However, we face two prominent issues:
1. There are nefarious actors (like Microsoft) who want to prohibit AI regulation. Some US states have some regulations in place, but it’s very patchwork at best.
2. Without strict quality control and human review, AI is very likely to hallucinate in embarrassing ways.
