Looking for your Mega Evolution fix? Given that Phantasmal Flames is just around the corner, it’s hard to keep up with new Pokémon TCG expansions. Mega Evolution base is off to a flying start, with some cracking deck builds hidden away such as Mega Venusaur ex and Meganium, and now Amazon is selling the Booster Bundle for $52.94, which is the market value price on TCGplayer right now.
This deal is nice and simple, six booster packs for a price worth paying. The Mega Evolution mechanic works a lot better than in the X and Y days. Instead of concentrating on having powerhouse ex and Mega ex decks, standard evolution mechanics remain.
So taking Venusaur for example: You would need to follow the Bulbasaur, Ivysaur to Mega Venusaur ex. Mega Pokémon can also be basic Pokémon, such as Mega Absol, to shake up gameplay somewhat. Overall it works well and it makes for far more entertaining gameplay and strategy building.
