Strands is the NYT’s latest word game after the likes of Wordle, Spelling Bee and Connections – and it’s great fun. It can be difficult, though, so read on for my Strands hints.

The theme didn’t give much away today, but after I found MAGIC I guessed that we were looking for NICKNAME of a handful of famous cities.
MOTOR and WINDY were my obvious next cities that I searched out, but I struggled a little bit after this before finding EMERALD and ETERNAL.
Of course the second part of today’s Strands is to name all of the cities. I got six out of seven, incorrectly guessing that Emerald City referred to Miami. How many do you know?
