NYT Strands today (game #623) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #623, are…
- FOIL
- SCARF
- STOLE
- FLATBREAD
- CELLOPHANE
- SHAWL
- SPANGRAM: THATSAWRAP
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
My first thought was that we would be looking for things that go in circles, like roundabouts or motorsport tracks, but after getting FOIL while searching for non-game words I then thought it was about things wrapped around cardboard tubes.
My mind was changed when I landed the spangram and then SCARF and I realized it was more about wrapping in general.
Ah well, sometimes you’ve got to roll with it.
