The first expansion for Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution, Phantasmal Flames, has finally dropped after a hectic launch weekend. If you don’t have the cash to splash out on a Booster Box right now, the Booster Bundle is currently $10 cheaper at TCGplayer when stacked against Amazon ($49.50 vs. $59.89). I know where I’m going to buy mine.
Of course, you could go with Amazon if you have AMEX or Discovery cards for up to 50% off, although this special offer hasn’t been available for anyone. Failing that, you can get aproved for a Amazon Visa card and recieve an instant $60 gift voucher to get the Phantasmal Booster Bundle for free.
Phantasmal Flames focuses in on Mega Charizard X with a standard ex, Secret Art Rare, and Gold Hyper Rare. Other Mega Pokémon have SIR variants such as Mega Lopunny ex and standard Pokémon such as Rotom ex.
