Marvel Rivals Season 5 has arrived, introducing a new battle pass, along with multiple new modes and new heroes to the roster. The start of Season 5 introduces Gambit as a new Strategist, with his beloved Rogue joining the roster when the midseason update drops in December. A new 18v18 Conquest mode will be added later in the season, and NetEase has teased some big free rewards for the one-year anniversary, which comes in early December.
The new battle pass, which costs 990 Lattice ($10) for the premium version, includes 10 total costumes, along with cosmetics, and a bunch of currency, including 600 Lattice within the premium battle pass. Like previous seasons, the battle pass has a loose theme, along with a few outlier costumes mixed in. This season is going hard on iconic comic book looks, with Midnight Suspense Black Widow and Witch of the Evil Eye Scarlet Witch both calling back to some arcs readers will know fondly.
There are also skins that pay homage to more modern looks, such as Adam Warlock’s Magus skin and Infinity Ultron. There are also two better-late-than-never Halloween skins in the battle pass, with Franken-Castle Punisher and Monstro King Namor. If you want to unlock rewards faster, you can also get the Luxury Battle Pass, which includes 2,800 Chrono Tokens to immediately unlock a couple pages of rewards, and a season-long 20% bonus to all Chrono Tokens earned.
