Arcane Season 2 4K Steelbook Edition Steeply Discounted For Black Friday

Arcane fans can complete their Blu-ray collection for less thanks to an early Black Friday deal on Season 2, which just arrived on 4K and 1080p Blu-ray October 28. Season 2’s 4K Limited Edition Steelbook is up for grabs for $37.14 (was $60) for a limited time. The 1080p Blu-ray Steelbook Edition is also on sale, but it’s only two bucks less than the 4K Blu-ray. The standard edition Blu-ray with a slipcover has dropped to $31.49 (was $45).

Season 2’s Steelbook Editions were designed to match last year’s versions for Season 1. The 4K Steelbook for both seasons features Jinx on the cover, and the Blu-ray Steelbooks have Vi on the cover. Where the designs differ–beyond color schemes–are with the back covers. For Season 2, GKIDS added a second character on the back, essentially making these reversible display cases featuring Jinx/Ekko (4K) and Vi/Caitlyn (1080p).

If you don’t own the first season of Netflix’s League of Legends-inspired animated series, you can pick up Season 1’s 4K Blu-ray Limited Edition Steelbook for $31.49 (was $60) at Amazon. The 4K Steelbook is actually cheaper than the 1080p Blu-ray Steelbook, and it’s only $1 more than the standard edition. With Amazon’s current deals on the 4K Steelbooks, fans can get the full two-season run on 4K with collectible steelbook cases for $68.63; meanwhile, buying both Blu-ray Steelbooks will cost you just under $71.

Fans should also check out The Art and Making of Arcane and the best-selling tie-in novel Chosen of the Wolf, both of which are on sale for great prices. The art book is eligible for Amazon’s new Buy One, Get One 50% off Book Sale, too.

You can take a closer look at the Steelbook Editions for Arcane Season 1-2 below.

All nine episodes are presented in upscaled 4K resolution with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10. On the audio side, Season 2 has Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround sound as well as Dolby Digital 5.1.

The 1080p Blu-ray disc is where you’ll find the three-plus hours of bonus content, including featurettes, animatics, and music videos. Here’s the full list of special features included with all three Season 2 physical editions.

Audio options are the same across all editions: Dolby TrueHD 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1.

$31.49 (was $45)

Season 2’s standard edition Blu-ray has key art featuring eight prominent characters on the cover and cardboard sleeve. Outside of the less-fancy packaging and presentation, this edition mirrors the 1080p Steelbook Edition with Vi on the cover.

$31.49 (was $60)

Arcane Season 1’s 4K Steelbook has a cool Jinx-themed cover design. Inside the case, you’ll find three 4K Blu-ray discs and a standard 1080p Blu-ray with special features. It’s rendered in upscaled 4K resolution (2160p) and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. For sound, it supports Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround.

Arcane Season 1’s physical editions include the full nine-episode arc and three hours of special features. The 1080p Steelbook Edition of Arcane Season 1 is nearly the same price as the 4K Steelbook right now. The three-disc Blu-ray set has Vi-themed case artwork and includes all of the same bonus features.

$30.49 (was $45)

Like the standard edition for Season 2, the regular Blu-ray version has key art showcasing a bunch of characters who play important roles in Season 1. The artwork is the same on the case and the included cardboard sleeve.

This 224-page art book provides a behind-the-scenes look at the production of Season 1. Along with a wide assortment of never-before-seen concept art, the book contains over 20 interviews with key team members who created the show.

The hardcover book comes with an acetate dust jacket with exclusive artwork shown above. The cover itself inverses the illustration’s color scheme. The fancy dust jacket isn’t the only premium feature here.

Inside the book, you’ll find fold-out spreads focused on Seasons 1 and 2, a poster featuring Jinx, a full-color, removable Piltover map, a replica in-world blueprint, and a recreation of the Vander Letter.

Set in the League of Legends universe–the massively popular video game franchise developed by Riot Games–Arcane follows iconic League champions Vi and Jinx as they get caught up in the power struggles between the utopian city of Piltover and the oppressed underground city of Zaun. The show debuted back in 2021 to critical acclaim for its storytelling, incredible animation, and getting that one Imagine Dragons song stuck in your head for several months.
